I salute you for your intent and the remarkable breakthrough that your channel has made. According to me you are the first channel to be truly upholding democracy in India at this crucial period in our history. To support my statement and substantiate its validity I quote in retrospect, from 300BC - Aristotle said "The most perfect political community is one in which the middle class is in control, and outnumbers both of the other classes" Aristotle also came to the conclusion that oligarchies , which are governments that are ruled by a few, are deviant regimes because they govern for the good of the rulers, and not for the good of the whole. For a more contemporary take on this subject we need to reflect on what the Nobel Prize-winning economist-historian Douglas North points out - The tragic phenomenon of how economies limit opportunities for citizens, basically he categorizes them into : Closed access societies; Limited access societies; and finally the healthiest, much needed - Open access societies. In anything we attempt relevance is of paramount importance, and I feel that News 9 is leading the vanguard that I hope other channels will have the moral and ethical courage to emulate and collaborate with News9.

ReplyDeleteIt is quite impressive to see your channel function 247 and was proud to see a Bangalore channel do well. I was interested in the news you were publishing for quite sometime. But Lately it seems that my family doesnt watch News 9 anymore. There is too much of media prosecution which seems very absurd. A lot of masala on news channel is being shown, instead you could have had a masala and a gossip channel. I am very disappointed with the kind of coverage especially stuff like Rakhi sawant who doesnt affect yours or my life. Rather I would be more keen on having stuff related to food items, infrastructure, safety etc. Can you guys atleast tread the path of being a more responsible media channel without being influenced by political parties and not thread the line of Headlines Today or Aaj Tak and be more proactive with common mans plight?

well, tv9 news is one of the best portal for banglorians...but showing less interest towards pu students....update us when results are out....results are being delayed.....and students are pouring their comments on net angrily....common guys give us news about that from pue board. thanks
